Privacy

RYDSKIN is pre-launch. This page describes exactly what the site collects today. It is short because the site does very little.

What we collect

Three forms, three sets of data. Nothing else on the site collects anything.

  • Pre-order. Your name, email, chosen bike and finish, quantity, and an ambassador code if you used one.
  • Notify me. Your email, the bike you ride, and optionally a finish you would want.
  • Ambassador application. Your name, email, age, city, bike, an optional social handle, and what you wrote in the application. If you are under 18, also your parent or guardian's name and email.

Every submission also records the page you came from, your browser's user agent, the country code our host reports, and a one-way hash of your IP address. The hash exists to spot abuse. We do not store the address itself and the hash cannot be turned back into one.

Why we ask for your age

Because the ambassador rules depend on it. Under 18 requires a guardian to countersign, and commission for a minor is paid to that guardian rather than to the applicant. We ask for age and nothing more precise. We never ask for a date of birth.

The minimum age to apply is 13. If we learn that someone younger has submitted an application, we delete it.

Parents and guardians

If your child listed you on an application, you will get an email from us before anything goes live. You can reply to that email to have the entire application deleted, and nothing happens until you confirm.

What we never do

  • We do not sell or rent your data.
  • We do not share it with advertisers.
  • We do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
  • We do not email you anything you did not ask for.

Cookies

This site sets no tracking cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, may set a security cookie to tell real visitors from automated traffic.

How long we keep it

Pre-orders and notify requests are kept until the run they relate to has shipped or been cancelled, then deleted. Ambassador applications that are not accepted are deleted within twelve months.

Getting your data deleted

Email hello@rydskin.com from the address you signed up with and ask. We delete it and confirm. You do not need to give a reason.
